The early 'how to' of the Gutenberg Galaxy was apparently communicated in this way. A few years on in the electronic age, the video "Web 2.0 ... The Machine is Us/ing Us" is eagerly gobbled up by the 2.0 machinery. Mutations arise and conversations develop.
